one-hundred-four: “ends of the earth” by lord huron.

highline. nyc. september 2012.

Lord Huron’s new album, Lonesome Dreams, comes out today. I’m already on listen number five. “Ends of the Earth” is the first song off of it.

“I wasn’t ready to die for you, baby, doesn’t mean I’m ready to stay. What good is livin’ the life you’ve been givin’ if all you do is stand in one place. I’m on a river that winds on forever, follow ’til I get where I’m goin’. Maybe I’m headed to die, but I’m still goin’ try; I guess I’m goin’ alone.”
